Volunteer with us!

Interested in volunteering?

We would welcome you! Our biggest need for volunteers is typically for event support (4th of July Fun Run, Hope Glows, etc). In an effort to protect the confidentiality of our clients, we are unable to accept clinical volunteers outside of masters-level interns. If you are inquiring about a counseling internship, please click here.

To be added to our list of volunteers, please read our volunteer handbook then complete the form below. Thank you!

For Youth

If you are a youth, our volunteer opportunities for youth are typically our Peer Tutoring program and Silver Tech Squad. Please sign up for these programs via their specific forms, which require much less information. You can find out more about these programs and sign up under the Our Work tab as well. These programs take place during the school year.

  • This helps staff to appropriately use and apply your skills and experience.

  • My initials in the following box certify that all statements made on this application are true, complete and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief. I understand these statements are subject to verification. My initials also authorize Bainbridge Youth Services to complete a Washington State Patrol Request for Criminal History, or a comparable background check with out-of-state agencies, as well as other reference checks as needed. My initials acknowledge that I received and read the BYS Volunteer Handbook and/or had it explained to me. I understand that it is my responsibility to abide by all rules contained in the handbook.
